YODA- The great Jedi master who although is not a rebel in his self, he taught Luke and Obi-Wan Kenobi the ways of the force. This green being who lives on Dagobah is the wise Jedi master who unfortunately dies in ROTJ. Yoda was created by the Jim Henson workshop and brought to life by Frank Oz. |

LUKE SKYWALKER- A Jedi who grew up with his uncle Owen Lars on Tattooine did not realise his potential to be a great Jedi like his father Anakin, when brought back from the brink of death by Obi-Wan. Luke was taught the ways of a Jedi. |

PRINCESS LEIA- A young woman who was separated from her family at birth was adopted and brought up by the royal family of Alderaan as she grew up she became a friend of Mon Mothma and in turn a member of the Imperial senate. She first met with Han and Luke when they rescued her from being terminated on the Death Star (1st). Later she fell in love with Han and in the books she gets married. |

HAN SOLO- Pilot of the Millennium Falcon, and a smuggler, with his co-pilot Chewbacca he flies around evading Jabba's grasp. He first meets up with Luke when Luke hires him to take him and Obi Wan to Alderaan. They then met Leia on the Death Star. Helps the rebellion destroy the Death Star. |

CHEWBACCA- Han's co-pilot on the Millennium Falcon has helped him get out of many situations by flying the Falcon while Han fires. Leia does not like Chewbacca at first but then relies on him in Shadows Of The Empire (book) and grows to like her protector |

LANDO CALRISSIAN- a Tibanna gas mining company finances his gambling habits which caused him to lose the Falcon in a bet with Han Solo. He is a proud businessman who is forced to abandon Bespin when the Empire takes over. |
